This Skaven hat has been commissioned to me by a friend. Took me about two days to make. It was commissioned with head cloth, but that can also be removed.
Skaven, rat-people race from Warhammer.

The most difficult part of that would be to actually make it look like a lizard head. As a rat head is just a head, with a snout. To make sure the Skink actually looks like a skink I'd have to fluff up the cheeks as well. But it would definitely be possible, Id just need to spend more time on the patterns :). The crest would be easy, just fluff it up with a lot of teddy-bear filling, or simply add a metal wire.

I can see how that might be troublesome indeed :| It would just look so cool though! :D But yeah, a lizard's head isn't exactly designed to fit around a human's head :< If you did make it though, I'd be the first to applaud it ;)

My project at the moment is a dragon head for my first fursuit. That one will have fluffed up cheeks so I would be able to modify that pattern for the skink hat I suppose ^^. I should try that out some day, because I <3 reptiles.

Yea that was the aim with this hat :)
The reason I went for that as well though is because I am not yet that experienced with sewing. And for a commission I rather give the customer something that I know I can do and will turn out nicely, rather then attempting to do a realistic version that is (at time of writing) over my skill level, and not look good at all.
